I am having the same issue with my Surge, it was recently replaced and my old one suddendly started doing the same thing. I am not sure if there has been an update recently or something but I get around 2 days out of a charge now. It is definately not the watch as my old one was the same.

Hey there @aokman. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums!
Just to be sure, your former Surge was giving you the same battery problem? The battery on your Surge should last for at least 7 days. The last update came out almost at the end of December so I don't really think this is causing the problem.
If you are noticing that the battery lasts less than 7 days, feel free to reach out to the Support Team and they will be happy to help you out.
I moved your post to the Surge board for categorization purposes and if you need more help, let me know! 🙂

Hi, Thanks for the reply
Yes I can confirm my last Surge was the same aswell but it only started happening in December just before it was replaced. There was a problem with the watch band and support sent out a whole new watch. I assumed it might have just been because my old watch was getting on a bit but it started happening all of a sudden and is still happening with the brand new unit. I fully charged it last night and its down to 3/4 charge already after 12-14hrs 😞

Hey there @aokman @ritson1971! I hope you're doing great!
@aokman Correct as @FerdinandFitbit mentioned the battery should last at least 7 days if you're using the GPS will last like 5 hours or so but that's not the case so I recommend you as well contacting Support so they can take a look at your tracker and tell you the options.
@ritson1971 By any chance have you tried restarting your tracker? you can also try fully charging it and then let the battery completely drain. I would also like to share this article in order to maximize the battery life.
Hope it helps, catch you later!

Hi Magin,
Yes I normally do a tracker restart when I do a charge as it sometimes hangs doing a sync so I find this is the best way to keep it fresh. No problem letting it completely drain as its flat before I get home usually 😞
Many other people are reporting the same issue and seems it started in December with everyone else aswell. Will log a support request shortly, thanks 🙂
