The gear icon isn't available in the Fitbit app for the phone or on the tracker.

It's available when logged in to the Fitbit.com website, at the top of the website at the right side.

Hello there @Shiker!  I see that @MakMak and @SunsetRunner provided really helpful information. For those who want to set a Stride Length, you can measure it by doing the following.

1. Go to a track or somewhere where you know the exact distance.
2. Count your steps as you walk across that distance, making sure you travel at least 20 steps.
3. Divide the total distance (in feet) taken by the number of steps to get your stride length.

With this information, you only need to go to the link that @MakMak provided and presto!
