Welcome to the Forums. Thanks for taking a break from stepping @Crispy_bits! Ups! Is this the first time that it happens? Please check when was the last time that you Fitbit Surge synced with your Fitbit Account, you can do so by openning your Fitbit App > Account > Surge. I would like to know also if you're tracking that activity with the automatic recognition option (SmartTrack) or using the GPS from Multi-Sport section. This information is really helpful to determined what happened in your case. Smiley Embarassed

Hi, this is the first time it has happened but also the first activity since I synced with strava. It has recorded my rides when not using the Fitbit but the workout I did yesterday whilst using the Fitbit and selecting the workout exercise option on the surge. No gps necessary as was gym based exercise.

I used the exercise selection in the surge and not strava. I did say this was gym based activity and not using gps and also not using strava. I did say however that I have only had this issue since syncing with strava. When I do other exercise other than using the strava app but using my Fitbit surely this should be recorded as normal?

Thanks for replying @Crispy_bits! Sorry about the misunderstanding. It sounds like a syncing or hardware issue then, please restart your tracker a couple of times and make sure that your Fitbit is currently syncing. Your Fitbit should be recording as normal. Surge uses SmartTrack (automatic recognition) or Shortcuts from the Multi-Sport section by choosing the exercise on the Surge screen and both should be showed on your Dashboard in the Activity History.

In case that it is still not showing your exercises please contact Customer Support, so they can further investiage.

Give it a try and let me know if that works!
