The trackers aren't designed to do that. They are normally safe to wear.

Fastest to exchange at the store of purchase with receipt.

May I recommend exchanging for the Fitbit Blaze?

It's about the same prize as the Surge, though when the band breaks on the Surge when out of warranty, needing to purchase a new tracker. The Blaze has exchangeable bands (possible to get other bands as accessoires for the Blaze in several colours available, possible to get a leather band as well or a metallic one..)..

The Blaze has a coloured screen, fitstar exercises on the tracker, able to view all your stats on one screen..

It's less bulky than the Surge due it's able to use the GPS from the phone when wanted to..

Wishing a wonderful day
