! It's great to have you here! It's weird that your Surge is not notifying you when you reach the exact mile. I'd like you to make sure that your phone has the most recent app version. After you have made sure of the app's version, log out of the app, turn off your phone and turn it back on. After this log back in to your account and go for a walk test and verify if the voice cue notifies you when you reach the exact KM as it should.

This worked for me yesterday (I wasn't trying to change miles to KM, but sort of):
- Go to your Fitbit.com Dashboard and make sure there's also KM and not miles
- Go to your Fitbit App and make sure the same, KM not miles
- On your Fitbit App, go to your account settings and select "Remove this Surge"
- Force quit your App
- Restart your Surge by following @MeylinP's instructions
- Set up your tracker as a new device by following @DerrickS's instructions
