Fitbit surge / grey screen

I bought a surge on August 9 and love it but today it is now grey, nothing on the screen, the green lights under the unit aren't illuminated nor flashing as usual and even when plugged into the charger nothing is happening on the unit. What do I do?

It's nice to see you around the Community Woman Very Happy, welcome! I'd recommend doing a restart by following these steps:

 

  1. Press and hold the Home and Select buttons (left and bottom right) on your Fitbit Surge for 10 to 15 seconds, until you see the screen flash or start to dim.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. After your screen turns completely off, wait 10 seconds and press the Home button to turn your Surge back on.

It actually turned out to be a charger issue. I swapped that and it started
working / charging. It must have been the charger unit. Thanks !
