A warm welcome to the Community @jeffmets. Have you checked your phone's settings? If you haven't, i recommend checking your phone's settings, keep in mind that your Surge will take the language that your have set on it.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I feel you @jeffmets, I had this trouble last night. Smiley Sad However, this sounds very strange to me since the Japanese, Korean, and Chinese languages are not yet available on Surge. Are you seeing a different language on your App or tracker?

Changing the language on your mobile device will change the language in the Fitbit app.

Log into your fitbit.com dashboard. In the lower right corner of the footer you can choose your country. Your fitbit.com dashboard will automatically update to the primary language for the country selected.

To change the language on your tracker:

  • In the Fitbit app, find Advanced Settings and turn off Automatic for locale detection.
  • Choose your country and then sync your tracker.
  • Follow the instructions to update your tracker to use the language you selected.

If the above didn't work, this is what worked for me last night:

  • Go to your Fitbit.com Dashboard and make sure about your country.
  • Go to your Fitbit App and make sure the same.
  • On your Fitbit App, go to your account settings and select "Remove this Surge"
  • Force quit your App
  • Restart your Surge by following @MeylinFitbit's instructions
  • Set up your tracker as a new device by following @DerrickFitbit's instructions

Let  me know the good news!
