Has anyone had issues with fitbit surge freezing with fitbit logo on startup for hours at a time? My surge stopped syncing and in the process of troubleshooting the issue, I restarted my device. It took several hours (I can't say exactly how long) for the clock (incorrectly set) to come back up to the time. I have restarted the device four times and still the same thing happens. Neither my mobile nor PC can detect it.

No, I can't say I've heard of this particular failure to start (although I won't claim to have read all reports here).
I can't think of anything off hand that may influence this either so it may mean that it's time to contact support.

This happened to my Surge today. It ran out of battery and turned of so I put it to charger. And as was described by the original poster, it failed to start. In fact it still has the Fitbit logo on the screen.
The problem was solved by resetting the Surge. Now it's working again.
