It would seem after looking through these posts that the home button on the surge is a problem. I have tried with no avail to do all the suggestions that people have made. My surge is only 4 months old and I am very disappointed that it has gone wrong in such a short space of time. It would seem that it a fundamental problem with them as it comes up time and time again!!!

@Benny6403 you are not alone. However, since your Surge is only 4 months old, contact Customer Support. If they can't solve your problem then they should give you a Warranty replacement.
