I just got my new Fitbit surge in the mail today. I read online it lasted about 5 days without being charged. But my Fitbit was just charging and got to full. Now it is already at medium power after just 1 hour. Help?

So I just got mine today, and I have idea how I know this is charging when plugged in.  It vibrates when I plug it in.  It syncs, however the battery indicator does not update and I never see the green lights come on.  So did I get a defective unit?

Press and hold the left button and the upper right button simultaneously until the display fades. Then release. Restart the watch as this is a hard reboot. Plug it in and charge it. See what happens.

If it does the same thing, then plug it in and charge, when it's charged, unplug and replug to charge. It's charged when the lightning bolt is gone. Do this a couple of more times. See how it goes then.

It's something someone else said on here. However, I will warn you it COULD be a software issue and not necessarily a watch issue. Two days in with minimum features turned on on a new watch, I got a low battery warning alerted to me but nothing on my watch yet. We shall see what happens. But keep at it and we'll see if it's defective or not. Or if it's the software.
