Surge not syncing anymore

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Surge still tracks everything on its screen, as usual, but it won't connect to my phone or home computer anymore. So no update has came up on my dashboard over the last 5 days.

I always use only my phone, so at first I thought I needed to connect at home for some kind of update, but it doesn't connect at all.

Help anyone?

I have an issue with amy home router. When connected the surge will simply not sync. It worked ok for the first few days and then stopped, no idea why. It will sync over my office router or GSM.

Uninstall your computer application and download the latest application software and install it.

Run the application and it should sinc with your device. I had the same problem and did what I just described and it worked. Man Happy

Surge won't sync since last iOS app update. Bluetooth cannot detect Surge and can't sync since 1st July

You mean iOS 9.3.2? It's funny because it actually started to work again for some reason. I was planning to upgrade to iOS 9.3.2 tonight, but I'll wait a little bit I guess! 🙂 thanks everyone!

Not the iOS, it's the Fitbit app version 2.24.1 released on 30 June. Sorry for the confusion.

@Thierrylarrivee welcome to the Community! Wow, it's good to read that your Surge began to sync again. Did you do something specifically? I'm sure I'm not the only one curious about it. 🙂

In case your tracker starts acting up again, I recommend restarting it by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the Home and Select buttons (left and bottom right) on your Fitbit Surge for 10 to 15 seconds, until you see the screen flash or start to dim.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. After your screen turns completely off, wait 10 seconds and press the Home button to turn your Surge back on.

Good luck guys!
