Surge on fire

Yesterday my surge fitbit was abit wet,i had a green light on 24 hour on the ledt side of it..this morning i charge my surge,went i get back to my room i see my surge is burning.no fire on but the monitor screen is black now.i cant even turn it down,just bought it 2 weeks back

I've not heard of this problem before. I suggest you get in contact with customer support:

Similar thing happened to me, I put it on rise and it worked, but in your case I think that it's best to contact our Support Team as @SteveH mentioned, so they can determine what happened after it got wet. Smiley Frustrated

I am hoping that Fitbit will accept your unit back to research the reason on why your device started "misbehaving"... and on the meantime maybe give you a new unit (?) if your warranty covers you.

Nice to see you around @SunsetRunner! Thank you for jumping in to give your thoughts in regards of this matter. Sometimes Customer Support requests the "misbehaving" product and some others not, it'll depend on the scenario. And as you said, it should be under warranty to be replaced. But let's wait and see what is the response from them. I'm sure they will be more than glad to help @Reenabasher with this. Smiley Wink

Hey,i already sent to warranty and its been 8 days today.i didn't heard anything from fitbit authorities shop.

Hey there,yes it literally got on fire.the screen burst and due to that smoke come out from my surge.i panic to see my surge catch on fire i take my HOT surge to tab and throw it in a water.just to cold it.even the bend melting abit.

Hai,that is my request when i sent my surge for warranty.i just bought my surge 2 weeks ago.now i dont even received a new replacement and its been 8 days no one call me or anything.
