I walked 500 steps, while Surge records 2500 steps, how to solve it?

Welcome to the Community @Willing! This is a pretty weird thing, you got more steps than what you did. Did you drive that day? Driving can give you credit for some steps that you actually didn't do. Did you log any activity such as walking or running? Has this happened before? Did you compare your Surge's data with any other device?
Additionally, you can restart your Surge and continue monitoring it.
Keep me posted!

the steps I got is between I drive, so I think it has nothing to do with driving. I have no other device for step recording.
I also have one polar chest band for heart rate, and according to my previous records, Surge's heart rate is kind of slower than polar, and the polar should be more accurate.

Hey there @Willing! Thanks for the details. Restarting you tracker should do the trick for the extra steps, feel free to reply in case that you're still having the same results. To improve the Heart Rate readings take a look of this tips, it will help you to get more accurate information during workouts.
In case that you're still having extra steps in your walks, I'd recommend using the "Walk" option in your Surge, after syncing you can check the activity information. If the issue persist it's best to contact Customer Support with all this details so they can further assist you.
I'll be around in case that you need more help!
