Hi,
Lots of people seem to have this problem. I just got my Surge and it's going crazy with step counter. Every morning I wake up with thousands steps. And during the day it counts approximately 5 times more steps than I actually take. I have tried resetting it, changing the dominant hand settings in multiple ways, and changing my stride length. Nothing works. I'm afraid without accurate measurements, this device is not being very useful. Can anyone tell how to reduce the sensitivity or is there any software update on the way? Any solution at all?
Sincerely,
Yasar

A warm welcome to the Community @yasaryousafzai. It's weird to hear to hear that your Surge is registering that amount of steps during the day, thanks for troubleshooting this issue by yourself. I recommend contacting directly our Support Team since they have the proper tools to see the information that your tracker is registering. For a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.
Let me know the outcome. ![]()
