My Surge has lost steps three times in the past two weeks while I'm looking at it. On Monday, I synced at a little over 15,000 steps. My daily goal is 16,000 and I got the popup saying I was almost to my goal, with 900 or so to go. I looked at my Surge 20 minutes later and it had rolled back to 13,200 steps. I looked my phone app and it showed 15,000 and then it rolled back, too. I have no other Fitbits synced that would conflict with my Surge. I'm trying to determine if this is a Fitbit issue or my Surge. I'm planning on upgrading to the Ionic, but if this is Fitbit-wide, I'm going to look at Garmin or Samsung moving forward.

Hi, @Ozyman666, that is very odd if you do not have any other Fitbits on your account. Are you by any chance manually adding any activities? Manually added activities will "overwrite" steps automatically detected by your Fitbit.
If you do have any manually added activities, deleting the manual log should restore the missing steps.
I would say this is not a Fitbit wide problem. I am definitely looking forward to trying out the new Ionic. If you do decide to go for one, let us know how you like it. Welcome to the foruma!
