I have a Fitbit Surge and a Samsung phone and have never been able to sync via the phone. It simply doesn't work. So I have always synced via the PC Windows 10. My last sync was Aug 2017 but now when I try and sync the dongle simply isn't recognised. Not only can't I download the data but now I can't even get the correct time! I've tried every suggestion that Help has provided and still nothing.
My patience with this watch is wearing extremely thin.

@Ishty Thanks for participating in our Fitbit Community! So sorry to hear that your Surge has stopped syncing even with your computer. I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if your dongle and computer recognized your Surge.

My Surge is also not syncing with my phone or computer. It also is not telling the correct time. Any help would be great thanks.

the same problem here : no more connection or synchro with computer and mobile. Also the GPS is nog working.
What to do?

I have also lodged a complaint wrt SURGE not syncing. No response yet. Seems to be the order of the day.
