Surge update and syncing

A detailed instruction that Surge will not update or sync with a Desktop system using Windows 10 must be added to your information provided to a new purchaser. After returning a Surge and getting the same non-response in both cases we finally found a note that Surge WILL NOT update and sync initally with Windows 10. Only after initially setting Surge up using my daughters Smartphone were we able to get it to work on Windows 10. A note to that requirement with the Surge Product would have  eliminated two days of frustration and a return of probably a good Surge in exchange for a different one could have been avoided.

 

Also, your Customer Service Support people need to be informed of this fact. Our calls to them were a waste of time and effort and accomplished nothing.

 

Finally got it to work but it was only by accident.

Exact same experience with Surge/iOS/Mac. EXACT same experience with FitBit customer service! Got the "we haven't had an issue with the Surge syncing, your's in one of thousands, it must be something on your end!" What? Currently pursuing other options for fitness tracker because of poor customer service. Sadly, just wanted you to know you are NOT ALONE.  Guess FB is so busy rolling out a new product they don't have time to deal with the current customers or products.
