Surge won't charge

Battery went dead earlier today. Plugged it in, and nothing happens at all! Tried different sockets and USB cables, but nothing is working.

Then Do a Restart

To get dead fitbit to charge.... plug in normal way. Press little side button 3 times within 8 seconds. You'll see green back light flash a bit and dead charging battery icon will appear on screen. You can check that it's charging by pressing button once... not hold, press... and charging battery icon will appear. Works for me. Good luck
