I bought my Surge in November 2016. The last few times I have charged it, I have noticed that it has not held the charge for more than 3 or 4 days - usually it 6. Overnight it died completely. I have put it on to charge. The logo has appeared on the screen but the device won't turn on. HELP!

Hi, @DebsV, I have noticed that sometimes the connection between the Surge and the charging cable can be a little loose, so it may be that yours is not getting a full charge. I have to place mine carefully and make sure there is no pressure on the cable to cause it to become disconnected.
Charge it carefully for a couple of ours and then try the restart procedure. After that keep charging until your app gives you the fully charged message. Hopefully it will be back to normal after that.

Hi there
thanks for this
I finally got it started mid-morning but the clock said 6.28 - must have been the time it closed down! I synced it with my phone app and finally it says the right time. Of course, just because I have done lots of walking this morning, I have lost all the steps I did! First world problems............

DebsV - It won't solve your lost steps this morning, but you can use your iPhone (or Android I think) to track your steps while your Surge is charging (I've been having issues with this too). Select Mobile Track under your Account settings on your Fitbit app. to add your phone as a device. They catch up with each other the next time you sync. Tracy S.
