Surge won't charge

This has be a gradually worsening problem for several months: when I put the charger end into the Surge, the green lights won't go off, and, thus, it won't charge. I have had to wiggle it, and mess with it each time. This problem is now acute. However I wiggle, and jiggle, the green lights won't go off, and my surge is almost dead. I have gone through the tuitorial re: cleaning, and etc. I will NOT buy another Fitbit! This is extremely disappointing! This device was so expensive.

My husband just bought this: https://www.amazon.com/LEMFO-Bluetooth-MTK2502-Monitor-SmartWatch/dp/B075XPKBRV

$40, and does everything, and more that the Surge does! And, the charging system is on the side, so can charge whilst wearing it, even. I'm getting one of those! Goodbye, Fitbit!

Hi

As having done everything possible, when desired it's possible to contact the fitbit support team, they can be contacted from the official contact page.

Mention what you've already tried to speed things up.

I have the same problem. Unfortunately, the LF20 doesn't do one important thing the Surge does, which is count steps in other activities, such as the elliptical trainer. I fear it's a design defect in the charging connector that doesn't let it make a secure connection.
