Surge won't sync

For the last month, my surge has had issues syncing about once a week. I get error messages and it won't sync. No idea why. It randomly happens and randomly stops syncing. Is there a permanent fix that anyone has found?

A warm welcome to the Community @HawaiiChipmunk. Could you please tell me what kind of error are you getting at the moment of syncing your tracker? In the meantime, I recommend following our Syncing Troubleshoot . After following these steps your tracker should sync without an inconvenience. Another thing that you could check is if your app is updated. You can follow @MarreFitbit's instructions in the How do I update the Fitbit app for Android post.

Thanks AlejandraFitbit. The error messages include "sync error," "unable to reach fitbit.com," and a couple "restart Bluetooth." I've followed a variety of troubleshoot menues each time and have updated my app as well as my phone software. No one troubleshoot method works every time. Right now it is just a constant gamble if my Fitbit will sync to my phone or not. It syncs fine sometimes, then greatly struggles or doesn't sync at all at other times without warning and without a consistent cause

I'm currently getting the "sync error, please try again." It synced about an hour ago, and I haven't done anything different with my phone or surge since so I'm not sure why it now won't sync
