My desktop PC is running on Windows 8.1. FitBit connect is no longer working on that PC, I can't even open the program. My laptop is running Windows 10. I can open 'connect', but can't sync. I see several replies to 'reboot' but I don't know what I'd be rebooting: the watch???? How do you do that? And why would reboot e necessary. Something costing close to $300 should work better than this.
Best AnswerSame problem, but with the Blaze. I'm a FIFO worker, and have been away for 2 weeks; I got back home at about midnight last night.
My FitBit wouldn't sync with my phone while away, although I had evening access to the internet.
Now that I've returned home (it's morning here in Australia),it won't sync here either.. I fiddled around in the settings area and found a setting called "Bluetooth Classic" which was set on 'unpair'; so I switched it to 'pair'. But the device still won't pair. I checked the setting again, and it had swiched itself back to 'unpair.'
I'm trying to sync the Blaze with with my mobile, which it was doing perfectly well before I went overseas two weeks ago.
I've done the switch to 'pair' about 3 times this morning, as it seems to switch itself over to 'unpair' continuously. Still no syncing. Very frustrating.
Best AnswerTo reboot the watch hold the button on the left and the bottom right button until the screen flashes, wait about a minute and the screen should fade, you can then start it up again with the button on the left.
