Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to sync my Surge over the integrated bluetooth connection of my laptop? I am using a desktop PC at home with the dongle, but I would like to know if there is any way to use the sync software on my laptop without this dongle. I can succesfuly connect laptop and surge over bluetooth, but the sync software returns that I should plug in the dongle. Both my desktop and laptop run windows 8.1 and the laptop has bluetooth 4.0LE.

thanks,

When having Windows 10 it's possible to download a special Fitbit App from the Microsoft Windows Store, which allows to sync using bluetooth of the computer.

Hello @MDNS,

Welcome to the community!

The answer is yes and no.

Yes:  If you install the Fitbit App, you will be able to sync your tracker with just Bluetooth 4.0.

No:  Only the latest (Windows 10) version of the Fitbit App has this feature.  That said, Windows 10 is a free upgrade from Windows 8.1.

I hope this helps.
