Syncing two fitbits

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I currently have a fitbit surge but want to buy the HR (surge is too bulky) and use the surge only to track my runs/walk as it has the GPS. Does anyone know if I can sync both fitbits to the same account on my phone...will they conflict each other? Does anyone know please?  Hope this make sense? TIA cheers, Jen 🙂

Hi, @freckles47, it sounds like your Surge is still connected via Blue Tooth to the iPhone, even though it is not connected in the Fitbit app.  Go to the iPhone Blue Tooth and remove the Surge in the BT settings.  You might also need to restart the iPhone after disconnecting.

Once it is disconnected from the iPhone it will probably be detected by the Lumia, but make sure all BT devices are well out of the way (maybe turn off BT on any other phone).  The Surge is definitely compatible with the Lumia 640 -- I had my Surge connected to it.

I hope this helps.  Let us know how it goes.  Welcome to the Community.

Hello @freckles47, and welcome to the Fitbit Community!.

As @Julia_G mentioned, it seems your Surge is still bonded to the Bluetooth on your iPhone 5S from when you connected with it, which explains why you're receiving text messages from your iPhone.

To remove the bond, on your iPhone go to Settings > Bluetooth and when Surge appears on the list of paired devices, tap on it and select Forget this Device, then turn off your iPhone and open the Fitbit app on you Lumia, a sync should occur whenever the app is opened.

Give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink
