charging my surge

how do you know when your surge is charging? is it when the green heart rate lights are flashing? Or is it when they are not lit ? charging this watch is the single most frustrating thing in my fitness regimen!!

You should see a battery when you first plug it in. To view it again while on the charger push the button to show the screen.

As @SunsetRunner mentioned, you can see the battery status on your Surge screen next to a lighting bolt (see picture). Your Surge also will vibrate every time you plug it in or out of the charger.
