Sometimes I forget to stop the clock on fitbit. And the log keeps going going. Is there a way I can truncate the log at a certain point after syncing?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @foxjazz. I'm afraid there is actually no option to snip the logs on your Dashboard. However, whether you haven't done it already, you can give a try to SmartTrack. Additionally, as a workaround only, you can delete the recorded activity an manually log it with the correct information.

There is a new idea that just came to my mind and it might help you out. If you know how long will your activity last, for example 10 minutes, set the timer on your Surge for ten minutes and it will vibrate at the end reminding you to stop your activity. Smiley Wink To find the Timer on your Surge just press the left side button and swipe between the options.

You are welcome to participate in a discussion about adding the option to edit recorded activities. If this suggestion doesn't fit your needs you can create a new thread in the Feature Request board. Once any update is available it will be communicated as soon as possible.

Hope to see you around more often. Smiley Very Happy

I have a suggestion. Is there geofencing around fitbit where the log will stop once the area of return has been reached. Can this be programmed in?

@foxjazz Currently there is no geofencing but as @EdsonFitbit said you can add your suggestion to our Feature Suggestion board and the details for it.

Let me know how it goes!
