Hello @Dogshea
Have you tried restarting your Surge? That might help. Just press and hold the Home and Select buttons (left and bottom right) on Surge until you see the screen flash or start to dim (about 15 seconds) then release the buttons. After your screen turns completely off, wait 10 seconds and press the Home button to turn Surge back on.
😃 Please let me know if this helps
Best AnswerHello @Dogshea and welcome to the Community. Fitbit stopped selling the Surge in 2017 or so. This means that your brand new Surge was manufactured over five years ago. A “new” battery, still in its original packaging, will degrade over time. I suspect the battery is dead.

Best AnswerYes, I had a different Fitbit that was wonderful. It finally broke where you plug it in so I thought I would use my husband which he had never used. I had bought him one after I liked mine so much. 1917. It’s been setting since initial test thst it worked. Now it only works when it is charging.
