Are you trying to set up call notifications? Have you opened the app to see if it will sync? The Bluetooth doesn't pair in your phone settings it does it from the app.

If restarting both the device and the phone doesn't resolve the issue, you might want to try resetting the device by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the Home and Select buttons (left and bottom right) on your Fitbit Surge™ for 10 to 15 seconds, until you see the screen flash or start to dim.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. After your screen turns completely off, wait 10 seconds and press the Home button to turn your Surge back on.

Please let me know if the issue persists.
