It can not be repaired.

 

I have seen some fixes on Amazon but you need some certain tools.

First choice - warranty replacement if less than 1 yr old.

Second choice - go to Amazon - there are replacements available with instructions and tools for under $15.

 

Fitbit did not make the band user replacable.  The GPS is built into the band, so requires some DIY with the replacement bands from third parties.

 

There are multiple threads about this exact issue with hundreds of complaints.
