Hey Fitbit Community,

The Fitbit Community has been around for almost 10 years (!!), and it’s served as the heartbeat of Fitbitters across the world. Our Community is a gathering of real people exchanging ideas, solutions, tips, techniques, and information about the Fitbit products and services they love, while also encouraging each other to live more active and healthy lives.

Fitbit community forums

The Fitbit Community is divided into different forums, with each forum focusing on a specific topic of discussion.

  • Product Help Forums: At the top of the forums you will see images of Fitbit trackers and products. Click on your device  to find support topics related to it.
  • Features: These support boards focus on individual Fitbit devices and app feature sets.
  • Platform: These support boards address questions about the Fitbit website dashboard and mobile apps.
  • Developers: This section provides resources and discussion space for developers using the Fitbit API and SDK to engage directly with Fitbit staff.
  • Lifestyle Discussion Forums, aka Health & Wellness Boards: Lastly, you will find forums for discussing lifestyle and activity, where you can interact with other Community members and exchange healthy living advice.

Be sure to read the Fitbit Terms of Service and the Community Guidelines so that you know what to expect and what is expected of you when you're here.

Create an account to join the conversation

Get started on the Fitbit Community forums by responding to an existing thread, starting a new thread, or voting on posts. Once you take any of these actions for the first time, you’ll be asked to choose a unique username to identify yourself. Your username will be displayed alongside your forum posts and can’t be changed once created.

After you’ve chosen your forum name, you're ready to begin participating in the Community. You'll be able to reach the forums through the "Community" link at the top dashboard. Your avatar will be displayed at the top-right of any forum page.

You can personalize your profile settings including profile photo, signature on posts, change viewing preferences, notification settings and more.

Post topics and replies

  • Enter a title. Tip: Make your subject clear and concise as this is the part of your message the community will see on the topics page.
  • Type your message. Be sure to include all necessary details, especially for technical topics. You can include images, videos, or links in your post.
  • Click Submit Post.

Once you submit your topic, community users can now respond by tapping reply to  a particular post.

Votes

Voting is a content rating system that lets you vote for the messages you think are the most useful or important. When you vote for a message, you’re endorsing it as quality content. Your votes help to boost the value of certain messages and enhance the reputation of the authors.

Best Answers

Best Answers are a way for you to acknowledge a great response to a question that you've posted. When you choose a best answer, both the question and the answer get special icons and links that take you directly from the question to the answer.

A Best Answer icon also appears on boards and in search results so you can easily and quickly see which messages have solutions.
