How does the Fitbit correlate with the Myfitness Pal app when calculating exercise calories? Is it safe to assume that the calories calculated from my Fitbit Charge after a workout are more accurate than myfitness pal? Thanks in advance!

@SunsetRunner The fitbit calories are total calories based on your base metabolism and activity.  MFP takes the fitbit data and then does its manipulation to come up with a calories burned which I believe is the calories from activity with the base metabolic rate stripped out.  I get a headache whenever I try to go from one to the other.  I just stick with fitbit which shows total expended calories and total intake from MFP.  The explantion from MFP is shown in the link below.  You should use whichever measure you understand best that will help you achieve your goals.
