Calorie syncing MyFitnessPal with Fitbit Charge 4

My charge 4 Fitbit app is showing calories in way higher than I’ve logged in MyFitnessPal. EG: today I’ve logged 2,000 calories in MyFitnessPal but Fitbit is showing it as 3,400?

I'm having the same issue. I've tried unlinking Fitbit and MFP and also deleting app and redownloading it. I'm guessing issue is on fitbit end. Ive also noticed that it won't correct itself after days - I left it for a week once and never synced properly so to make fitbit correct I had to manually delete a meal and then enter it in fitbit.

It seems like this thread might have the answer - https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Fitbit-App-Food-log-incorrectly-syncing-wit...

Basically log into the My Fitness Pal website (dashboard there, not the app) - I just did now and saw additional entries in my log there that explained the overage of calories in fitbit. Once I deleted them from the MFP log, it took about 5 mins and fitbit synced properly. So issue is with MFP and not fitbit, it seems like. Hopefully this solves the problem for you 🙂
