Can I use MyFitnessPan and MapmyFitness with Fitbit?

I use MapMyFitness for tracking walking and running. It syncs with MyFitnessPal which syncs with Fitbit. Am I douple counting the same activity?

@ReneeV Agree with @SunsetRunner Any activity that's step based shouldn't be log in your Dashboard because your tracker was made for that. Any other activity that requires more than just steps like tennis or yoga should be log in order to improve the accuracy of this activity's contribution to your caloric burn.

 

If you're not wearing your tracker while walking or running, it's fine to log those activities.

Probably, if you are wearing your Flex during the times that you manually track the activity on Map My Fitness. If you want to keep them connected, I would take the Flex off for any of those periods.
