Can I wear a Polar hear rate monitor and a Fitbit HR together?

I was wondering if you can wear a Polar heart rate monitor and a Fitbit hr together?  Will one mess with the others job performance?

If the polar heart rate isn't linked to Fitbit in anyway, it wouldn't interfere at all (in case of using to compare..).
