Can you link Fitbit and Health Mate?

I've been able to sing my Healt Mate (Withings) information into Fitbit, but I cannot find a way to get my Fitbit steps sinked into Health Mate. Any guidance would be appreciated!

A warm welcome to the Community @DebbieBM. Thanks for the details mentioned.

Sorry for the delayed reply.

  1. Log in to your account on the app or website of a company that offers Fitbit integration, such as MyFitnessPal, Endomondo, or Runkeeper.
  2. Find the section for connecting another account. This section is often called "Apps" or "Connect."
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions and log in to your Fitbit account when prompted.

You can learn more about it by checking this article: How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?

Unfortunately this doesn't help with the very specific question being asked. How does one get their Fitbit steps into the Healt Mate app.. It's like pulling teeth getting integration between these two apps, and it's disappointing. If I had known this was such a bear I would have never purchased the Withings scale.

Before anyone says "just buy a Fitbit Aria 2", let me say this, if the Fitbit 2 Aria had ALL the key metrics I was after I WOULD buy it (though it is $30-40 more than other smart scales).

Thanks for getting back @DivaVocals. I appreciate the details mentioned.

Health Mate app isn't listed in the official partnership page. However, you may want to ask directly Health Mate because Fitbit has an open API

I of course did ask Withings and Health Mate - and as I've experienced, they communicate all my info to Fitbit, no problem - but Health Mate is the one I want to be my primary place to record everything. And they said, "For additional information why the data you want to share is not transferring, please contact Fitbit support for further assistance." Interesting.

Thanks for getting back @DebbieBM. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Fitbit doesn't own or maintain third-party integrations. It's up to the owner of the third-party app to implement or update features for their app. Unless there's some sort of limitation on Fitbit's side (e.g. no Fitbit SDK), then it's safe to assume that the owner of the app is the one to contact if you're interested in seeing the integration improved.

Thanks for your understanding.

Crazy that the other company says it's not up to them either, that it's up
to Fitbit...

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post, sorry for the inconvenience experienced with Health Mate. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using to sync this information? Also, when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try revoking the access and connecting the app again. Please refer to this help article to do so.

I did all of these steps, but why are my steps now showing up on the Health Mate app?
