Charge 4 isn't syncing with Strava

I've recorded 2 outdoor conditioning workouts with my Fitbit in the last two days and they did not upload to my Strava account. I had to take a screenshot from the Fitbit app on my phone and then manually input my workout in Strava.

  • I've manually synced my Fitbit 5 or 6 times
  • checked that the GPS says connected before I press start on my Outdoor workout on my Fitbit
  • disconnected strava from my Fitbit, then reconnected it
  • uninstalled strava on my phone, reinstalled it and nothing has worked.
  • I also have the latest firmware update. 

I purchased this Fitbit Charge 4 less than a month ago, why am I already having issues?

Outdoor workout is for non step based exercises like skiing, skateboarding, etc.
