Keep selecting MyFitnessPal as third party app but it keeps dropping off. When I go into check third party apps in Fitbit it doesn’t show that it is selected.

I have the same issue. It started about four days ago! Someone from Fitbit needs to fix it, As the only way to do the connection is through the my fitness app. I contacted them and they said it was Fitbit that keeps dropping the connection

Same here!  have had to reconnect each the day the past 3 days.... have tried updating both apps, connecting them in each direction, starting/ restaring apps.  That and Fitbit constantly asking to access my location is going to drive me to look for new options.

Same for me. I've restarted and updated both apps, restarted my phone. This is really annoying, and severely impacts the usefulness of my FitBit.

I was having the same problem. This worked for me:

  1. Log into the MyFitnessPal app (I did this on my phone, not desktop).
  2. Go to the App Gallery, find Fitbit. If it is not connected, click Connect.
  3. If "Connect" is already active (mine was active--yours probably is, too): disconnect and then reconnect and follow the instructions (I selected "all" for the MyFitnessPal-FitBit sharing option).
  4. Log out of FitBit and log back on.

I was on an online chat to Fitbit yesterday for nearly an hour trying to rectify the problem and they just kept telling me to try troubleshooting all these things which I had already done before contacting them, I’m sure I was talking to a robot!1 in the end they said your Fitbit is syncing fine the problem must be with MyFitnessPal!! I could have screamed and still no further forward 🙄

I had the same experience. I did call MyFitnessPal and they said it is a Fitbit issue.
I did notice that MyFitnessPal is no longer on the list of supported third party applications within the Fitbit app.
