Connect to Polar V650

I bought a Polar V650 with Bluetooth smart. When I want to connect my Fitbit Charge HR it sees the device but it fails to connect. I've heard other HR sensors can be connected, any idea why I'm having trouble connecting?

because it's not possible.

Fitbit devices are closed and can connect only to Fitbit software.

Why is that? I know other devices can do it, so you can use it as a HR tracker. Fitbit had 3th party integration, then why closing it?

which other devices with the Polar ? 

chest strap, ok, but others ?

Fitbit integration is with applications, by gateways, not with devices.

for instance, it's not possible to use a chest strap with a Fitbit

why ? business.

So in this "businesscase" the Fitbit is useless
