Connections issue with ITrackBites

I reached out to ITrackBites support because their Fitbit integration is not working. They claim a widespread outage of Fitbit integration, can anyone here confirm that?

 

This is my email and their response>

 

Me:

I have a Fitbit Versa, ITrackBites Pro and I can not connect my Fitbit account. I am able to log in, see the permission page, click allow all and the allow button but I am returned to the app and the connect button is still present. ITrackBites is not in my Fitbit account as an allowed connection either.

This a Fitbit issue and connection problems are being experienced also in the WW app, My Fitness Pal and several other apps.
This is not an iTrackBites issue and sorry for any inconvenience.

I appreciate the details mentioned and for contacting ITrackBites support. So far, I haven't seen any issues from Fitbit with ITrackBites. 

 

Fitbit doesn't own or maintain third-party integrations. It's up to the owner of the third-party app to implement or update features for their app. Unless there's some sort of limitation on Fitbit's side (e.g. no Fitbit SDK), then it's safe to assume that the owner of the app is the one to contact if you're interested in seeing the integration improved.
