I dont want to have to adjust anything. I just want to press the running exercise on my inspire 2 fitbit and press start and finish. But my Fitbit measured my run at 14.04 miles and strada measured it as just over 12 miles. This can't be right.

I appreciate you shared your experience. Take in mind that each of these apps have their own algorithm when tracking distance. I'd recommend you check this article, How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?.
