Does Fitbit share our personal information with other social media sites, like Facebook, even if not a Facebook member?

Welcome to the forum, @oldmancrumbles. The simple answer to your question is no, Fitbit will never share your personal information with other social media sites ... unless you tell them to. For example, there are several third party apps that work with Fitbit, such as Weight Watchers and MyFitnessPal. But you would have to go thru the steps to sign in to both accounts and allow the sharing. If you want to read more on the privacy settings and policy, tap here.

Hello @oldmancrumbles and @SunsetRunner.
Thanks for replying to this post @SunsetRunner. You are on point with your answer!
@oldmancrumbles As @SunsetRunner mentioned, you'd need to connect apps to your Fitbit account in order for information to be shared but it will not be shared on its own. Be sure to read the privacy policy to get a better understanding on the situation.
Feel free to reach out with any further questions.
