Hello @Kristilee79, it's nice to have new faces in the Fitbit Community. Yes, the programs from MapMyFitness are listed as supported integrations.

MapMyFitness programs include MapMyRun, MapMyHike, MapMyRide, and MapMyWalk and data will sync from Fitbit to MapMyFitness programs. However MapMyFitness activity doesn't sync to Fitbit.

MapMyFitness account will be updated each time Fitbit syncs and only the following data will be transferred to MapMyFitness:

Fitbit > Distance > MapMyFitness apps
Fitbit > Calories > MapMyFitness apps

For more Information please visit the following post: Third Party Apps - Informational Post.

Hope this helps. See you around!

I see that there have been sync issues and I think they are not resolved. I added Map My Run App a few weeks ago and now I see that my Fitbit stats only include the time I spent logged into MMR. ALL THOSE STEPS WASTED as my daily walks, stairs, workouts were not tracked since I linked the apps. 😞

Hi there @kelkmac, let me give you the welcome to the Fitbit Community forums. I'm wondering what type of syncing issues were you experiencing?

Many of the third party integrations are not developed by us and we don't have the control over this data or what would be shared across from your Fitbit account. However following the Third Party Apps - Informational Post. You'll see steps will be shared with MMR.

If you are having issues to see this data I recommend to revoke the access from your Application settings on your online Dashboard and try to connect your accounts one more time.

Afterwards proceed with the following steps:

  1. Log into MapMyRun.
  2. Click the Improve tab and then select Device Connect.
  3. Find Fitbit on the list and click the Connect button. You're taken to fitbit.com.
  4. Log in with your Fitbit credentials.
  5. Go back to MapMyRun and go to your workout dashboard.
  6. Click the Import Workouts button
  7. Next to Fitbit click the Sync button. One month of your step history will be imported.

Hope this helps and chin up. Those steps despite are not syncing still were made by you.
