Fitbit Blaze and MFP Calorie Question

Hello,

So sorry for yet another post on this topic but I could not find an answer to my particular question in the existing posts. Here is my integration:

Fitbit Blaze tracks calories burned using continuous HR.
Blaze is not worn during exercise.

Third party app tracks workouts and sends calories burned to MFP.

MFP and Fitbit are linked.

My question: Are the calories that are logged in MFP and sent to Fitbit being used in Fitbit to count my daily burned calories outside of exercise?

Fitbit shows the calories burned from exercise from the MFP link as a manual entry.
My MFP receives the Fitbit calorie adjustment along with exercise data and adds those as Exercise.

Hi, @Nolashade! Yes, if you track an exercise in MFP (or it's sent there from another app), that activity is sent to Fitbit and overwrites normal step activity/HR calories during that period.

Thanks, @MakMak. Would deleting the activity in FitBit correct the problem?

Yes, if you don't want the calorie estimate from MFP and would rather just use the HR data from the Blaze, all you need to do is delete the MFP activity in Fitbit. From my experience, once the exercise is deleted, it won't come back.
