Fitbit/MFP double counting steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just checked my fitbit activity and could see that I was extremely active in the night between 0000-0030. I looked closer and could see that this was a reacuring issue over the last period. It looks like the my steps get synced double so fitbit -> MFP -> fitbit. is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Hello @BMartinPR, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Note that MyFitnessPal is not able to duplicate your steps although it will add active minutes if there is an activity logged and synced with your Fitbit account. Make sure that all your activities are properly logged and the time is correct, I recommend to review your Activity history and look for an activity that match with the time of the graph is showing you are active. If there is an activity causing this discrepancies try to edit the activity or delete it.

See you later, keep me posted how it goes.

I am quite sure I dont have any activity in the middle of the night, I
could be sleep running, but I doubt it.

Hi there @BMartinPR, I'm sure you are not logging this intentionally. When I start using this it happen to me a few times, so I just want to follow up on how it goes? Is the issue persisting on a daily basis?

I`ll be around and wish you the best. Robot wink
