Fitbit & MFP exercise adjustment and allowed calories

Help please! I have searched Fitbit community and don't seem to be finding the right answer. I have my caloric intake set at 1300 calories a day on MFP & Fitbit. I know that fitbit will send MFP an adjustment after I do an exercise and give me more calories to consume if I wish to do so, while still having a set deficit of 1000 calories a day. Great. No problem. My concern is that Fitbit does not show added calories in my food tile. I would love to just glance at the Fitbit app and see exactly how many calories I have left to consume instead of having to open MFP!

The food tile in Fitbit will only show your set caloric intake minus your calories consumed. So how do we easily know, by looking at Fitbit how many calories we have left for the day?

@NatalieJean thanks for joining us! I'll do m y best to answer your inquiries about your calories burned and MFP. First, make sure to do the following to correct the discrepancies you are currently showing:

1. Log in to your Fitbit dashboard and click Log > Activities.
2. Verify that the activity was not logged twice.
3. Go to your Account Settings (found under your profile picture), and scroll down to Preferences. Disable Calorie Estimation.
4. Turn off Personalized Meal Plans in your Fitbit account.
5. Wear your Fitbit for all activities.
6. Log your cardio exercise on the MyFitnessPal site.

Now, the tile that lets you know is the tile for your Food Plan and looks something like this:

And this tile changes as you log your food and it varies depending on the intensity of your Food Plan. Your Food Plan tells what the deficit of calories you should have daily:

This view is a real-time calculation of your calorie deficit and shows whether you're in the goal zone set by your Food Plan. Your plan's deficit is pro-rated over the entire day. For more info about food plans, click right hereHope this helps. Keep me posted, I'll be around!
