Fitbit and Peloton

My FitBit is linked to my Peloton. I select "spinning" as an exercise in the FitBit Sense so that I can see my heart rate while I ride. When Peloton pushes my stats to FitBit, it overrides some stats (e.g. zone minutes) but double counts others (e.g. actual minutes active). Is there a solve for this so my stats are only counted once?

Hi @NBM0518 as you say, when Peloton sendsit data to Fitbit. I think I would start by asking Peloton what should be expected.

Thanks Rich. However, it is FitBit that decides what to override and what not to override. Peloton does not know any of my other FitBit stats.

Peloton is responsible for their link up with Fitbit. Peloton knows what they send to Fitbit, this is where I would want to start.

From fitbit's end any third party app that sends data to Fitbit is treated as a manually added, after the fact, exercise. During this time period, data recorded by the Fitbit tracker should be ignored by Fitbit.
