It's great to see you around @charlesp1255. I'll be happy to clarify your question.

Once you connect Fitbit and Strava, only new activities will sync automatically between both applications. You can learn more about it by checking Fitbit and Strava.

I've moved your post to this board because it's more related to the topic.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

This is exactly the problem lol ! New activities are not synchronizing and showing in Strava app. As per comments I red on blogs, this à a really commun issue.

What’s the solution ?

Thanks for getting back @charlesp1255. I appreciate the clarification.

I would like you to try the following troubleshooting:

  1. Try reconnecting your accounts, syncing your Fitbit tracker, and waiting an hour.
  2. Confirm that you are not recording a duplicate exercise in the Strava app and Fitbit app/device simultaneously.
  3. Confirm that you are recording a GPS exercise if using Fitbit (only exercises with GPS on Fitbit will be sent to Strava).
  4. Confirm that you recorded a new exercise after connecting your accounts (previous exercises won’t be uploaded). You can use the TCX export from Fitbit to upload older exercises manually.

Let me know how it goes.

@charlesp1255
If you are actually interested in syncing / uploading past activities from or to Strava and you have an Android phone, there is this app that you can use

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.syncmytracks

I think RunGap does the same thing in iOS

@charlesp1255 It's great to see you on the Community. Thanks for the details shared.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I would like you to confirm you're tracking your activities with GPS, because those activities are the ones that are going. Could you let me know what type of mobile device are you using?

You can learn more about it by checking this article: How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?

Keep me posted.

I’m running with my Fitbit and I see the results / tracking on the watch
and app.
It just does not upload to Strava, even though the 2 are connected together.
I did multiple synch. I’m able to export my runs to Run gaps app, not to
Strava.
Please advise.
