Fitbit app not syncing with OneTouch

My Fitbit app is not communicating with my OneTouch glucose monitor. I tried to disconnect it and sync it back up but it won't even let me disconnect it. I get message that there was an error and please try again when I try to disconnect. It has been frustrating because I am constantly getting a app notification that I need to resolve an issue with OneTouch device
