Fitbit app won't sync with Facebook

My fitbit will not connect to my Facebook friends, it says I have no Facebook friends also using fitbit (which I know to be untrue).

I found an article from 2016 however it was no help to me, Facebook is not listed as a third party app to even try disconnect and retry. 

 

I connect Facebook and it then doesn't list it as a third party app, which makes me go round and round in circles trying to load anything.

Thanks for the details shared on your post and for trying to solve this prior posting. Please try the following steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

I'm actually having the same issues. Tried your suggestions and it didn't work.

Thanks for the details shared on your post and for the troubleshooting performed. Please try the following:

 

  1. On the fitbit.com dashboard, hover over the Friends tile and click Find Friends.
  2. Under Find More Friends, choose Facebook as a method to add friends, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once your Fitbit account has been connected to Facebook, it should be added on your third party apps list.
