Fitbit / email

I no longer use my Fitbit but it's registerd to my email account how do I take it off n add my son instead with his fit bit to my email account plse

Hi there @Waldock. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

 

When it comes to having your son using your account, I wouldn't really recommend this. The reason why I wouldn't recommend it is because your account is already set with your personal information information and all your history can not be deleted from your account, so the tracker registering your son's activity will not be accurate at all.

 

Something else to keep in mind is that your son needs to be at least 13 years old to use a Fitbit account, so as long as he's that age or older, there should be no problem at all.

 

I would really recommend in that situation, to have him create a brand new account. This can be done with the Fitbit app by logging out of the current account and then, in the options, tap on the one that says "Join Fitbit". Have him enter all his personal information and then, set up the tracker on that account and all should be good from there.
